🏏Who is this “pole star” shining in the “world of the sports” in IPL 2025? And how did he reach the IPL at such a young age? Let’s talk about this “pole star”. Actually, his name is Vaibhav Suryavanshi vaibhav suryavanshi. Suryavanshi was born on March 27, 2011, in Tajpur village of Samastipur district of Bihar.
1 How did Vaibhav Suryavanshi enter the world of sports?
🌟Vaibhav entered the world of sports at the age of four. That is, at the age of 4, Vaibhav started playing cricket. Vaibhav was coached by his father, Sanjeev Suryavanshi. Later, he joined a cricket academy in Samastipur at the age of nine, Vaibhav used to travel 100 km to Patna every other day for training. His parents gave their full support to fulfill his cricket dreams. Even Vaibhav’s father sold the farm land and his mother used to wake up at 4 am every day to prepare his food.
🏏Youth Career :
• Vinnu Mankad Trophy : Vaibhav played for Bihar’s Under-19 team at the age of 12.
• Chaudhary Series: In 2023, he played for India B Under-19, scoring 177 runs in six innings, including two half-centuries.
• After this, Under-19 Asia Cup: Vaibhav scored 76 off 46 balls against UAE Under-19 and 67 off 36 balls against Sri Lanka in the semi-final.
• After this, Debut against Australia: He scored a 58-ball century on Under-19 Test debut, which is the fastest century for an Indian Under-19 player.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s domestic career :
- First-class debut: Vaibhav made his debut for Bihar in January 2024 at the age of 12 years and 284 days in World Of The Sports, also becoming the second and youngest cricketer to play in the Ranji Trophy for Bihar.
- T20 Debut : Speaking of which, Vaibhav became the youngest player to debut in T20 cricket at the age of 13 years and 241 days, playing for Bihar against Rajasthan in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
- List A Debut: However, Vaibhav became the youngest Indian player to play List A cricket at the age of 13 years and 269 days, making his debut for Bihar in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
🏏2 Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s IPL career :
- ✅IPL Contract: Vaibhav was signed by Rajasthan Royals at the age of 13 for ₹1.1 crore in the IPL 2025 auction.
- ✅IPL Debut : He made his IPL debut for Rajasthan Royals against Lucknow Super Giants at the age of 14 years and 23 days, becoming the youngest debutant in IPL history.
- ✅Century in IPL: Vaibhav scored 101 runs in 38 balls in a match against Gujarat Titans, making him the youngest player to score a century in IPL and making Vaibhav Suryavanshi the fastest Indian player in the world
